Pest control for Ronkonkoma's airport, rail-hub, and septic-system homes.

This page covers Ronkonkoma itself — the transit-and-industrial side of the hamlet built around MacArthur Airport and the LIRR station — separate from our Lake Ronkonkoma page, which covers the lakefront homes to the north. Most Ronkonkoma properties run on cesspools or septic systems rather than municipal sewers, which changes what we look for on an inspection.

Ants & Drain Flies

Ronkonkoma is largely unconnected to municipal sanitary sewers, so most homes rely on cesspools or septic systems — moisture and organic matter that draws ants and drain flies indoors more than a fully sewered neighborhood sees. An ant colony that finds a kitchen food source won't leave on its own just because the visible trail gets wiped away.

02

Rodents

The Ronkonkoma Hub project by the train station is one of the largest developments on Long Island right now, and major construction like that regularly pushes rodents out of disturbed ground and into nearby homes and businesses. Once inside, gnawed wiring is a recognized fire risk, not just an inconvenience.

03

Stinging Insects

Long Island MacArthur Airport and the warehouse and manufacturing space around it mean more large grassy and paved buffer areas where stinging-insect nests can go unnoticed — a real safety concern for employees and customers, not just a homeowner issue, and commercial accounts here need discreet scheduling and documentation, not a residential-style visit.

04

Spiders

Most spiders found indoors are more nuisance than hazard, but a sudden increase is often a sign of a bigger insect problem elsewhere in the house — worth a real inspection rather than just clearing webs.

Why Ronkonkoma is different

An airport and rail hub, not a lakefront community

Ronkonkoma's 18,955 residents live across 8.11 square miles built around two major pieces of transportation infrastructure: Long Island MacArthur Airport, active since 1943, and the Ronkonkoma LIRR station, which has marked the end of Main Line electrification since 1988. A roughly $1.2 billion mixed-use development called the Ronkonkoma Hub is under construction right at the station, with Amtrak service expected to begin serving the area within the next few years.

Despite the name, the lake itself sits entirely within Ronkonkoma's boundaries rather than the separate hamlet of Lake Ronkonkoma to the north — but the homes right around the water get their own dedicated page from us, since the pest pressure there (persistent lakefront moisture) is different from what shows up around the airport, the rail hub, and the hamlet's largely septic-system housing covered here.

★★★★★
The crew did a wonderful job treating our ant problem. They were thorough and thoughful on where to treat, and it has been a week and nothing has been seen since they have been here.
★★★★★
One time, on budget, friendly service, couldn't have asked for a better company to work with

They came, they saw, they conquered. We had rodents filling our garage coming in and out at will. The treated the area, removed any dead rodents, came back a few days later and did the same thing. Problem has been solved. Would highly recommend.
Questions

Before you call

How fast can someone come out?

Most Ronkonkoma calls get a same-day or next-day appointment. Call the number above — if it's after hours, leave a callback number and expect a response by the next business morning.

Is the inspection actually free?

Yes — a technician walks the property, identifies the problem, and gives you a written quote before anything is treated. No obligation to book.

Are you licensed to apply pesticide in New York?

Yes — NY Licensed and Insured.

I live right on the lake — is this the right page for me?

If your home is on or near the lake itself, our Lake Ronkonkoma page is the better fit — it covers the moisture-driven pest issues specific to that shoreline. This page covers the rest of Ronkonkoma, including the airport and station areas.
